Morvich CC site is a long way to anywhere.  And that's its big attraction!  It was easter weekend when I stayed, and only 20 or so vans were present on a site that can hold four times that many.

A compact little site, Morvich is situated on the valley floor at the top of Loch Duich.  All pitches are hardstanding with EHU.  The toilet block is up to Caravan Club standard, but is a little tired and somehow feels rural, befitting of the area really : does the job and was kept clean, though.

The big attraction here is the great outdoors.  So get on your bike and cycle along the quiet banks of Loch Duich, or go for a walk through the nearby forests.  The weather wasn't too kind when I was there, but the scenery is spectacular, even when shrouded in passing clouds.

 

Shops?  Forget it.  Make sure you stock up before you go.

 

Would we go back?  Probably.
