If you fancy a stay in a canal-side location, Bridge House Marina in Garstang is the place for you.  As the name suggests, it's a caravan site on the side of a working marina complete with chandelry - interesting to see the different cultures.  Part of the site is given over to statics, though these don't dominate (other than some of the drivers could go a little more slowly - one managed to run a duck over while we were there).

 

 

 

Facilities include hardstanding and EHU to most pitches.  The toilet and shower facilities are a little tired, but functional. 

 

 

 

 

Garstang is a pleasant walk along the canal away.  It has a Booths, Sainsburys and a range of other shops, pubs and takeaways.

  

Would we go back?  Probably.
